‘Someone tied this poor thing up to a tree’: Online dog lovers leap to help struggling rescuer care for abandoned pit bull puppy found in park

Time and again we are reminded just how hated and mistreated puppers are in this world. It is enough to break your heart and your belief in humanity as a whole. How can the very same species that convinced canines to come to them in the first place also treat them so terribly? Nonetheless that is how our story begins, but thankfully from there on it is full only with dog loving people who banded together to make a magical rescue and rehoming happen.

Pit bulls in particular are one of the most hated breeds on the planet as evidenced by the sheer numbers of them that we see being abandoned, dumped. Not to mention the condition of most of them is far worse than other doggos when they are found. Showing how badly they were treated before being ejected from their homes and family lives. So it is not all too surprising that this story's pit bull arrived in rather rough shape but what is surprising is what happened when the dog's rescuer came face to face with the challenge of financially caring for the canine.

While they wanted to take the dog on and call it their own they were simply not in a place financially to support it. A tough spot to be in when you have taken on the physical task of saving the dog in the first place, but a responsible one nonetheless. Hearing of their plight the canine community stepped in, knowing that this dog in the pawson's care is better than in the shelter.

Wow, that is one heck of a way to find a dog and what an interesting demeanor for a dumped dog to have. Often a dog who has experienced as much neglect as this one would be incredibly fearful of hoomans in general and likely unapproachable. But this sweet angel somehow knew that it was only one hoooman who had wronged her, not all hoomans and was willing to come along with a stranger to be saved. Truly outstanding stuff this is.

Yaaay! She has the home she deserves. Look we know this is not the most traditional way for a pupper to be adopted but you have to remember that out there she had nothing. At least with this hooman she has a roof, heating and thanks to a loving community wellness, food and more. It just goes to show that having a good intention can be far more important than all the resources needed. Not everyone has the ability to physically save a dog, just as not everyone has the means to care for one. That does not mean that one cannot support the other.
